And it goes without saying that if you’re suddenly playing as Triss or Yennefer or Shani, Geralt’s lines won’t be magically re-recorded in the game’s numerous cutscenes. Nor will you be able to have voiced conversations with them. Unlike Skyrim, you’re not going to be able to give your companion your extra gear to “share your burdens,” as Lydia might say.
Obviously, there are limitations to this mod. There are a few NPCs you can sub in here, so you can wander around the countryside as someone other than Geralt and Geralt alone. The player here is using Triss Merigold, strapped with Geralt’s swords as their main character.
